Flip the mood of the assignment. If it’s light, make it dark. If it’s sad, make it happy. If it’s exhilarating, make it not so exhilarating.” REMIX
I will show my original assignment that I created for this first.
For the original assignment a flower was provided and you had to find the name of the flower. I took that flower and made it completely different. I will first show the original flower and then the flower after I edited it.
After adding all of the edits to this original photo and then layering it on top of a fire in a forest it is a completely different picture. It does not mean that it is any worse than the original one it just means that it is different. Both photos have good things about them and both have bad things. Bob always talks about how it is okay to be different. He even goes as far as saying that difference is beautiful. I chose this specific assignment to remix because I thought that it would be easy to make my point with.
To create this picture I edited the original picture by fluctuation the transparency of the picture until I was happy with it. I then changed the coloring of it and made it a grayish tone. I then found a picture of a fire and then layered the flowers on top of the fire. I then fluctuated the transparency again to get it the way that I thought was best. I had a good time with remixing my first assignment. I believe that the hardest thing was editing the photo. I am not the best at photo editing so it was a challenge.
